Elk hunts consist of six full days of hunting (September 7 to September 26). I'd highly recommend buying a bear tag too. The past few years we have been seeing an incredible amount of bear during archery season. Excellent opportunity - lots of action.

Archery hunters please remember to bring proof of previous archery license. For example, old archery hunting tags from any other state.

You must have these with you on your hunt to buy an archery stamp when you arrive in Montana or purchase your archery stamp online at www.fwp.mt.gov. If you have any questions call 406-847-5593.

Elk hunts run from late October to late November. While hunting elk, it's common to see mule deer and whitetail in the same country. We also have exclusive whitetail hunts on our private land. Contact us for more information.

Go online www.fwp.mt.gov then call 866-449-3468 ex-0 or (406)444-2950 ext-0 from 9 to 5 mt time.

They will help you step by step with the lic. Apply for the Big game combination license $959 then below that check box #1that says: I am not applying for an elk permit.This has to be done by March 15. If more then one hunter apply as a party.

The elk deer combo state wide tag has to be done by March 15 and bear tags must be done by April 14, or tags can be purchased 5 days before you hunt. If more then one hunter, apply as a party.
